The Costumiers' Grand Fantasy Masquerade Weekend is New Zealand's premier immersive costume celebration, created for those who love extraordinary costumes, enchanting spaces, live entertainment, themed experiences and the magic of stepping into another world.
Guests are invited to dress in their finest creations and become part of a living fantasy. From elegant historical grandeur to steampunk adventures, mythical realms and flights of imagination, every detail is designed to transport you somewhere unforgettable.

A Nautical Golden Era where Victorian elegance meets Impossible Discoveries
Theme inspiration: "All the Glitters"
The Nautilus Society Promenade
The evening commences with the Nautilus Society Promenade, a period of mixing and mingling, catching up with friends and a chance to make new.
Wander the immersive spaces from Victoria Lane, to the Sherlock Arms, an 1890's tavern, or roll back further to the times of Vikings and Norse gods, and explore The Keep, our medieval Viking hall.
Photowall's and selfie booths are open all evening and floor photographers are there to capture your creativity.
Enjoy a complimentary drink [voucher per night] and light nibbles served both during promenade and as a supper later in the evening.
Two ballrooms open
The Nautilus Ballroom
A Victorian voyage beneath the waves. Step aboard a fantastical journey inspired by Jules Verne, Victorian exploration, oceanic mystery and steampunk invention.
Surrounded by the spirit of discovery and the romance of unknown worlds, The Nautilus Ballroom brings adventure, elegance and nautical fantasy together for Friday night.
The Raven Court Ballroom
A candlelit celebration of medieval fantasy.
Enter a world of ancient halls, legends, folklore and revelry, where knights, nobles, wanderers and dreamers gather beneath the glow of imagined candlelight.
The Raven Court Ballroom offers a warmer, more intimate Friday night experience filled with mystery, music and timeless fantasy.

Inspired by the beauty of the 19th century, this ballroom celebrates the traditions of formal balls, refined entertainment and the art of dressing beautifully.
